At Castlerock, safety is a core value that guides every aspect of our work. We are committed to maintaining zero-incident job sites by building a culture where every employee knows their personal safety is our top priority.
Our Safety Program is designed to protect our most important asset — our people. We emphasize safety at every level of the organization so team members feel valued, protected, and empowered to speak up. Our goal is simple: everyone goes home safely, every day.
Safety Training & Compliance
Safety is at the center of how we work. From day one, employees learn our safety expectations during new-hire orientation and receive ongoing training through structured programs and monthly safety meetings.
We focus training on the leading construction hazards, including OSHA Focus Four (falls, struck-by, caught-in/between, and electrocution), PPE, fall protection, ladders and scaffolds, cranes and rigging, excavations and trenching, material handling, and safe use of hand and power tools.
To keep training and compliance on track, we use the OWYN Safety Management Platform to manage annual training requirements, monitor certifications and renewals, and maintain documentation across our workforce.

Proactive Planning & Risk Prevention
Safety starts long before crews arrive on site. Our pre-planning process identifies risks, eliminates hazards, and helps prevent delays. We use job safety analyses, pre-mobilization meetings, site-specific safety plans, and hazard mitigation strategies so each project begins with the right protections in place.
Continuous Monitoring & Adaptation
As projects evolve, so do potential risks. Our dedicated safety manager actively monitors site conditions and adjusts safety protocols as needed. Employees have direct access to safety support by phone, email, or in person. We update safety plans in real time, conduct daily pre-task plans, and provide additional training whenever new risks arise.
